SOME residents in Bradford have been pulling out all the stops for their Christmas lights displays this holiday season.
Residents across Bradford put up Christmas lights displays in late November and early December, much to the admiration of passing motorists and pedestrians.
The T&A had an amazing response when we asked people for Bradford's most festive street.
Two areas from opposite sides of Bradford came up multiple times - Silver Birch in Wyke and Green Lane/Sandhill Fold in Idle.
But other streets such as Cooper Lane in Shelf and Wibsey High Street were also mentioned more than once.
One resident wrote: "Green Lane, Idle. Go look at those beautiful lights every single year."
Another described Green Lane/Sandhill Fold displays as "amazing".
Going for a stroll up and down these roads in Idle revealed light displays on house after house.
While the T&A understands the displays in the Idle neighbourhood are not pre-arranged, the residents do like to make an effort and the displays are popular, particularly with children.
Light displays in Silver Birch, Wyke, have also been described as "fabulous" with one resident saying: "I am biased but we love to go all out".
