An operation targeting roads surrounding Bradford city centre saw police strip away one taxi driver’s licence to work.
West Yorkshire Police’s Steerside team joined Bradford West NPT for a day of action.
One motorist was reported for driving without insurance while the car was seized.
Other drivers were reported for other offences such as seatbelts, mobile phones and contravening traffic signs.
Police also suspended the private hire licence of a local taxi driver due to defects with his vehicle. The defects meant the vehicle was unfit to be used.
The driver was also reported for the relevant offence and to the local authority inspectors.
