Part of the M62 was closed this morning due to an early hours police incident.
The exit ramp on the M62 Westbound at Junction 24 A629 (Ainley Top) was blocked off by West Yorkshire Police.
The closure was unrelated to a serious crash at Junction 22 early on Wednesday morning, the T&A’s traffic partner INRIX confirmed.
Rush hour traffic is already building on the major route.
Cameras show queues of cars and HGVs lined up along the M62 before dawn broke.
Speaking earlier, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Emergency services are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision on the slip road at Ainley Top, Junction 24, M62 Westbound.
All lanes are now open on the #M62 in both directions between J29 and J28 near #M1 #Lofthouse #Morley, following an earlier @WestYorksPolice led incident.

"Motorists travelling westbound will need to exit at Junction 25 Brighouse as the slip road at Junction 24 is currently closed."
