A BRADFORD restaurant is opening its second site in the city tonight following last-minute delays.

International, which also has a restaurant on Mannville Terrace, near Bradford city centre, was set to open its second site at the former Three Singhs restaurant on Sticker Lane on December 15 following a deal worth £350,000.

However, it was forced to delay the opening due to a gas leak and multiple pipe work issues.

But now the Sticker Lane restaurant will welcome its first diners from 5pm today (Monday, December 19).

Safeer Khan, International manager, said: “It’s been frustrating and stressful.

“We have had to deal with a lot of setbacks that I didn’t expect. We are open. We appreciate all of the patience from people.”

Mr Khan added International will hold an official opening event at its Sticker Lane restaurant at a date to be confirmed next month.

The new site includes space for 280 diners over two floors, a 150-space car park and features a large bar and waiting area at the front.

The International on Sticker Lane will be open from 5pm to midnight, with last orders for food taken at 11.30pm each night.
