A WOMAN has appeared in court for a racially aggravated attack on a police officer at a Bradford police station.
Pamela Hague, 59, of Lavender Court, Shipley, faced one charge of racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress – words/writing.
She intended to cause a police officer harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and the court found the offence was racially aggravated.
The offence took place at Trafalgar House police station, Bradford, on May 14, 2022.
Hague was fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £48 victim surcharge. A collection order was made by the court at the sentencing hearing.
She pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 18, 2022.
