BRADFORD Producing Hub (BPH) has been announced as one of 16 recipients of the £1 million Jerwood Developing Artists Fund.

With this funding, BPH will deliver PROPEL, a two-year skills development programme for 12 early-career producers and production managers.

PROPEL is designed to prepare people to deliver ambitious new work through placements with renowned national venues, festivals and events, and will ready participants as lead producers and production managers to deliver bold artistic work for Bradford 2025.

Lisa Mallaghan, Director, said: “Bradford Producing Hub is delighted that our PROPEL programme will be supported by the Jerwood Developing Artists Fund.

“Over the last three years, BPH has delivered a range of introductory training for local aspiring creatives.

“This has set the groundwork for this next phase, which will propel some of our most exciting talent to the next stages of their careers. We can't wait to see what they deliver for Bradford 2025!”

Alongside BPH, Jerwood Arts has announced a combined total of £1million of funding for leading arts organisations to deliver transformative programmes tailored to what early-career artists, curators and producers need now.

This is the first wave of a portfolio that will continue to grow, with Jerwood Arts expecting to support up to 25 artist development programmes annually once the Fund reaches full capacity.
