Brave Jaspreet battled her illness for nearly nine years. Her condition worsened in June this year and she had been bedbound since.
Her husband, Manjit Kundi, was her full-time carer and supported her until the end.
Jaspreet was from India and moved to Bradford in 2014, falling ill not long after.
Due to visa issues, Jaspreet had no recourse to public funds and Manjit was in regular contact with the Home Office. Mr Davies was supporting the family and putting pressure on the Home Office to resolve the issue, he told the Telegraph & Argus in November.

Speaking after Jaspreet’s death, Mr Davies said: “I was greatly saddened to learn that Jaspreet had passed away.
"She was extremely brave and I would like to offer my deepest condolences to her family at this very difficult time for them.”
Jaspreet’s last wish to be reunited with her mother, who lives in India, was fulfilled when she arrived in the UK the day before her death.
