AN airline is giving people the chance to visit Norway’s famous Fjords in a new programme of flights from Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA).
JET2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have today announced a new programme of flights and city breaks to Bergen in Norway for spring 2024 from the Yeadon airport.
The programme has gone on sale from today, representing the first time that Jet2 has operated to Bergen in more than 10 years.
The breaks give people access to stunning Fjords such as Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord and the city of Bergen itself boasts a backdrop of spectacular mountains which are wrapped around a picturesque harbour.
This historic harbour district, Bryggen, is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List and provides visitors with one of the world's most significant examples of the history and culture of a particular medieval settlement.
The airline is launching the new programme to Bergen in Norway in response to increasing demand from customers who are looking for more discovery-based experience holidays. The programme is part of the ‘Discover More’ that caters for this audience.
The Bergen programme from LBA is as follows: three once-in-a-lifetime trips and one four-night long-weekend break departing on Thursday, May 2, 2024. Or a choice of two three-night midweek breaks departing on Monday, May 6 or Monday, May 13, 2024.
