AN arrest has been made after a man was hit in the head with a weapon.
There was a large police presence on Kirkgate, Shipley following the altercation, which happened at around 4pm on Thursday afternoon.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody at this time.
The victim, who police said was hit in the head with a weapon, was taken to the hospital and has since been discharged.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Police are investigating reports of an altercation outside an address on Shipley where a man was hit in the head.
"Officers were called at 4.55pm yesterday afternoon to Kirkgate.

"A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in police custody at this time.
"The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries to his head. He has since been discharged.
"Enquiries are ongoing by Bradford CID."
