STUDENTS at Beckfoot Priestthorpe in Bingley performed their nativity this year to residents from a local care home.
The school has a social action scheme where each year group is given the chance to make a difference in their local community.
Year two students made a link with Wingfield care home this year, where pupils visited the residents, who read to them.

Several residents came to watch the dress rehearsal of their nativity on Monday, December 5 and the children will be going back up to the care home to sing carols with the other residents.
“The children were so proud to show their nativity to their new friends and cannot wait to go back to the care home to sing some carols together. This link is valuable for both the children and the residents.”
