THIS wonderful video has been sent to us by Morgan Spicer who caught a family of six swans breaking their way through the ice on the canal in Skipton this morning, between Brindley Court and Mill Lane. It shows how low the temperature had dropped in the night.
If you watch the video you'll see a small group of ducks following on behind, doubtless grateful to the swans' efforts.
