A MAJOR food retailer has become the latest name to open a branch in Bradford.

Muffin Break has officially opened the doors to its bakery café at The Broadway and the site includes a 76-seat area for people to enjoy a drink and a sweet treat.

It sells a host of items made fresh every day in store including sandwiches, paninis, cakes and croissants.

It will also stock a host of hot and cold drinks - and has Christmas-themed drinks including a white hot chocolate, salted caramel latte and a Terry’s Chocolate Orange hot chocolate.

Muffin Break, which officially opens today (Thursday), has signed a lease for a 1,758 sq ft unit located in the Eastbrook Mall. The Bradford site is the firm’s 61st in the UK and only its second in West Yorkshire.

“Muffin Break will create 15 new jobs as it opens in a 1,758 sq ft unit in the Charles Street Mall, offering customers premium coffee made from 100 per cent Arabica beans.

“I’m confident the new eatery will be a welcome addition to the centre.

“At The Broadway, we’re committed to bringing new and exciting retail and leisure experiences to the people of Bradford and the wider district.”
