A MAN has been fined after being caught speeding on a Bradford motorway.
Abdul Qadoos, 40, of Templars Way, Allerton, Bradford, faced one charge of speeding by exceeding the 70mph motorway limit and being caught on manned equipment.
He was clocked at 90mph on the M606 in Bradford on February 26, 2022.
Qadoos was fined £220, handed three driving licence points and ordered to pay £90 costs and an £88 victim surcharge for the offence.
The offence was contrary to the Motorways Traffic (Speed Limit) Regulations 1974, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988.
The case against Qadoos was proved in a single justice procedure hearing which was held at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 16, 2022.
