A MAN has been banned from driving after he was caught speeding on a major Bradford road.
Khorum Parvez, 34, of Durham Road, Bradford, faced one charge of speeding.
He was clocked at 73mph in a 50mph zone of Sir Fred Hoyle Way, also known as the Bingley Bypass, in Bingley. The offence happened on July 6, 2021, and he was caught by manned equipment.
He was disqualified from holding, or obtaining, a driving licence for six months and received five penalty points.
Court documents say the disqualification was deemed obligatory due to his repeat offending.
Parvez was also fined £440 and ordered to pay £110 costs and a £44 victim surcharge for the charge.
Parvez denied the offence at an earlier hearing, but was found guilty in his absence at a hearing in September 2022 and was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 24, 2022.
