BRADFORDIANS can travel back in time this Boxing Day as a night of 1980s soul and R&B music comes to the city.

A selection of DJs will be performing on the night, which is presented by Takeover Events and will be held at the Railway Social Club on Wakefield Road.

The event is from 9pm to 3am. Tickets are £6 and are available to buy in advance, with more on the door on the night.

An event spokesperson said: “The time has come to reconnect and enjoy a great evening in a safe space with great music.

“So call your friends, get a new outfit and get your tickets – let’s dance again.

“We have handpicked a selection of the very best DJs who will be playing everything from Jocelyn Brown to Mary J Blige, and from Luther Vandross to Shalamar."

DJs include Hutchy, Lee Wright, Ossie Labad and Chris Thomas.
