A PEDESTRIAN in his 70s suffered serious injuries after he was hit by an electric scooter - which did not stop following the crash.
The collision occurred at around 11:10am on Bridge Street in Pontefract on Saturday, November 26 when the scooter, travelling in the direction of Horsefair, collided with the man.
The rider of the electric scooter is believed to be a young male.
The man's injuries required substantial hospital treatment.
