POLICE have launched an appeal after a pedestrian in his seventies suffered serious injuries in a crash.
The collision happened on Huddersfield Road, in Brighouse, near to its junction with Woodhouse Lane on Saturday evening.
A silver Alfa Romeo was travelling down the road towards Brighouse town centre at 8.55pm when it was in collision with the male pedestrian who was crossing the road.
The man suffered serious injuries.
Officers would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the crash, the circumstances leading up to it, or who may have dashcam footage that could help police.
