A BRADFORD man has been arrested on suspicion of three assaults after a man was left with a broken jaw.
West Yorkshire Police announced today it had arrested a 31-year-old man yesterday in connection with an alleged attack on November 11, in Heaton's Court, Leeds city centre.
This incident was the subject of an appeal for information from the force and a 36-year-old man was left needing surgery to fit a metal plate to fix his jaw.
The 31-year-old from Bradford was also arrested on suspicion of another assault and separate public order incident in Leeds on the same date, as well as an assault in Bradford on November 6.
He has since been released under investigation.
A full statement from West Yorkshire Police said: "A man has been arrested over an incident in Leeds that left a man with a broken jaw.
"The 31-year-old man, from Bradford, was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident that occurred on Friday, November 11, in Heaton’s Court, in Leeds city centre, and which was the subject of an appeal for information.
"He was also arrested on suspicion of another assault and a separate public order incident in Leeds on November 11 and an assault in Bradford on November 6.
"The man has been released under investigation and enquiries are continuing."
