POLICE have launched an investigation into the death of an animal following a "horrific attack" in a Bradford area.
A Rhea was attacked by dogs on Wednesday in Shelf.
It has now been confirmed that the bird has sadly passed away as a result of the injuries it suffered.
A spokesperson from the force said: "Many of you may be aware of the incident where a per Rhea was attacked by dogs in the Shelf area on November 30.
"Sadly the animal has now died as a result of its injuries.
"If anyone has any information about who may be responsible for this horrific attack or any dash cam footage of a white Astra van in the area between 1.20pm and 2pm on November 30 please get in touch.
