A YORKSHIRE Water worker has been commended for how he dealt with a problem at the house of an elderly couple.
Waste Jetting Technician Dan cleared the drain and found a sewage problem at the property.
But it was the way he treated the 88 and 86-year-old which led to a lovely message from one customer.
The message, which was posted on Yorkshire Water's Facebook page, read: “Dan came to my elderly parents' house within 24 hours of me calling Yorkshire Water.
"He cleared the drain and found a sewage problem in the pouring rain; he contacted me by telephone to inform me what he'd found and done.
"He explained what the problem was to my elderly parents who are 88 and 86 with easy-to-understand language which they and I appreciated.
"Such a lovely man, great customer service I couldn't thank him enough. Well worth a great big wow from us.”
