A MALE has been arrested after a motorbike was stolen in the Bradford district.
The rider had tried to escape police before losing control of the black and orange bike.
He then attempted to run away from officers on foot until he was caught.
The vehicle was found to be stolen from Cullingworth in mid-November.
The male was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle and motoring offences.
Officers in Bradford South also recovered another stolen bike.
Information was received anonymously that the green Kawasaki was stashed in a garden.
Officers went to check it out and found it had been stolen on November 28 from Halifax.
A police spokesperson said: "Some positive enquiries were made and hopefully someone will soon be identified by officers in Halifax."
