A POPULAR Bradford café is revamping its menu to keep things fresh.
Kunafa Tea, on Thornton Road, Bradford held its Good Food Good Mood event last week, to trial its new menu with a whole host of food bloggers being invited to put the taste to the test.
The café has been open for just over a year now and has embedded itself into the Bradford food scene - and has been noted for its authentic Syrian cuisine.

New additions to the menu include a new fish dish, a variety of burgers as well as some Syrian classics including Jedi Bel Zeit, tender lamb shank in rich olive oil, and garlic sauce served with Vermicelli rice.
Anas Al Halabi, owner of Kunafa Tea, said: “We re-evaluated our menu, looked to see what was being done well and what we could add.
“When we started off, we didn’t want a big menu, we wanted something small, but we wanted to do it well.
“One thing we’ve found is Bradford loves grills.
“After so many requests we had to add them to our lunch menu alongside the sandwiches and shawarmas we were offering.
“We’re adding some new dishes to create variety, but it will still be authentic to us and have our flavours.”
The exterior and interior of the cafe has also had a small makeover.
“It’s important for us to make changes and keep it fresh so we can maintain the business, Anas said.
“We’ve had a lot of positive feedback and we’ve made some changes that I think people will enjoy.”
Alongside the food menu, new drinks have been added after the huge success of the lemon and mint drink.
Anas added: “The event was so great for us as a business because it allowed us to meet so many people face to face that we usually interact with virtually.
“There's nothing like that personal, face-to-face interaction and it was so lovely meeting such warm and genuine people.
“We were honestly blown away by the amazing feedback we received on the new dishes and will be using this feedback to make decisions concerning the new menu which we hope to release around the new year.”
