A RESCUE dog is in need of a new home as the RSPCA celebrates National Mutt Day today.
The organisation is celebrating all dogs in its care as part of the day, as is also urging people to consider adopting a rescue dog.
Stella was taken to a rescue with health issues, but after treatment from RSPCA Keighley, Craven & Upper Wharfedale, she has improved and is now looking for someone to give her the love and training she needs.
The RSPCA said: “Stella is affectionate with the people she trusts and will do anything for a treat, but can get a little over excited when meeting new people.
“Although a little strong when she first comes out of her kennel, she does walk nicely once settled and is calm when meeting other dogs.
“Stella needs a home without other pets or young children.”
