A MAN has appeared in court for stealing more than £450 worth of alcohol from two supermarkets in the Bradford district.
Ashley Haywood, 33, of no fixed address, stole £236 worth of alcohol from Asda in Shipley on June 4, 2022. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £48 victim surcharge and £85 for the charge.
He was fined £40 for stealing £233 worth of alcohol from Asda in Rooley Lane, Bradford, on July 4, 2022.
Haywood was fined £40 for a charge of failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on July 19, 2022.
Haywood pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 18, 2022.
