A PUBLIC consultation on a £40,000 traffic calming scheme on a Bradford road has begun.
Measures to improve safety on Lumb Lane were included in a list of road safety works planned for the Bradford West area earlier this year.
They will include existing traffic calming extended from Green Lane to Westgate, with a number of speed plateaus and speed cushions installed on the road.
Now the plans have cone out to public consultation.
In total two blacktop plateaus will be created on the stretch of road, along with nine blacktop cushions.
The works were prioritised due to the need to reduce speeding on the road, which leads into Bradford city centre.
Members of the public have until December 15 to comment on the plans.
They can do so by calling 01274 437678 or visiting here
