A LOCAL Bradford Mental health charity brought together leaders of the city for a special event at the Van Gogh Alive exhibition.
Mind in Bradford, the official charity partner of the multi-sensory exhibition created by Grande Experiences, which opened in October for its Yorkshire premiere and has seen thousands of visitors flock to witness the work of Van Gogh like never before, whilst raising over £1,000 to date for Mind using 'Tap to Donate' points throughout the experience.
The event held on November 23, 2022 was a huge success with guests able to enjoy a private viewing of immersive experience which features more than 3,000 images from the seminal Dutch artist, as well as find out more about the vital mental health services Mind offers people of all ages across the district.
John Carrigan, Project Director for Van Gogh Alive, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome so many guests and help raise the profile for this important Bradford charity and support all the incredibly important work they do for people in need across the district.”
Helen Davey, Chief Executive of Mind in Bradford, said: "We're very grateful to Van Gogh Alive UK for letting us use their beautiful exhibition space for the night.
“We would never be able to do what we do without the support of our partners, including Van Gogh Alive UK and Grande Experiences - so thank you."
