A LITTLE girl was rushed to hospital yesterday evening after a crash on a busy Bradford road.
West Yorkshire Police received reports of a collision on Leeds Road at 5.40pm yesterday.
It involved a vehicle and a pedestrian and happened near Istanbul Restaurant and the road's junction with Birklands Street.
The pedestrian, a female child, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
She suffered leg injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The crash caused heavy traffic to build in the area, on what is already a heavily congested road, until it was cleared later.
A full statement from West Yorkshire Police said: "Police received reports of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Leeds Road, Bradford, at 5:40pm this evening.
"The pedestrian, a female child, was taken to hospital by ambulance with leg injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening."
