AN elderly man was the victim of a robbery that left him with serious injuries.
Police are appealing for information following the incident, which happened in the Cleckheaton area.
"The offence, which happened on The Greenway between Tesco’s carpark and Victoria Avenue, is believed to have occurred between 10.40pm on November 15 and 2.30am November 16," said a police spokesperson.
"A male in his 70s was assaulted, causing severe facial injuries, and bruising to his ribs.
"Cash and personal items were taken."
The man was found at 2.30am on November 16 on Whitehall Road in Wyke.
