AN Albanian national has been remanded back into custody to stand trial at Bradford Crown Court on February 15 accused of production of cannabis.
Anduel Rupo, 31, of no fixed address, is in Leeds Prison charged with the alleged offence said to have been committed in Westgate, Bradford, on October 30 this year. Westgate is a main city centre street running through the area often called the 'top of town' and out towards White Abbey Road.
Judge Jonathan Rose fixed his trial date today when an interpreter will be present to assist the defendant.
Under the current law, cannabis is categorised as a Class B drug. From 2004 to 2009, it was a class C drug.
