A MAN has appeared in court for driving while disqualified in Bradford.
Steven Doherty, 21, of Albion Street, Dewsbury, faced one charge of driving whilst disqualified.
Court documents state that on August 8 this year, Doherty drove a Land Rover Freelander on Harry Street, Dudley Hill, while banned.
Doherty was also charged with using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third-party insurance.
He was fined £140, ordered to pay costs of £110 to the Crown Prosecution Service as well as a surcharge of £56.
His driving record was endorsed with six points.
He pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 16.
The total of £306 must be paid by March 1 next year.
