A WOMAN has been banned from driving after failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at a Bradford police station.
Kiran Hyder, 34, of Northfield Road, Dewsbury, faced one charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis – vehicle driver.
According to court documents, the offence happened on December 11, 2021, at Trafalgar House police station.
She denied the offence but was found guilty on October 14 this year.
A community order was made and Hyder must carry out a maximum of 20 days’ rehabilitation activity requirement.
She was fined £200 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £95 to fund victim services.
The court was to apply for benefit deductions to recover the £295 total.
Hyder was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for two years.
She appeared before Kirklees Magistrates' Court on November 8 to be sentenced.
