A Bradford dancing school has paid tribute to one of its late dance mums in a special show at Disneyland Paris.
Paris Cherise Dance Company wanted to honour the life of Buttershaw's Michelle Davis, mum to six-year-old dancer Sarabi Robinson, and her love of The Lion King.
Owner Paris Cherise Braithwaite-Hamilton took 18 dancers from West Bowling to Paris for the once-in-a-lifetime performance.
Joined by 14 other students from Holyhead, dancers took to the stage to The Lion King musical’s original set from 2007.
“One of our parents who was meant to be coming with us sadly passed away,” Paris said.
“Her favourite film was Lion King. She even named her daughter Sarabi after it.
“She always thrived for her daughter just to be the best she can be.
“It was just so special to have that opportunity.
“Back stage the director let us know it was some of the original set.”
She added: “It was really successful. All the girls really enjoyed it. Disney asked us if we’d be auditioning to come back again which is such a nice thought.
“It was quite a few of their first time on a plane. Even getting their own passport was just new to them.”
