Bradford’s hospitals will be following a “tried and tested plan” during strike action this December.
The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) announced that members will stage their first-ever national walkout on December 15 and 20.
But health chiefs have moved to reassure people St Luke's Hospitals and Bradford Royal Infirmary’s service will “remain unaffected”.
Nurses at Airedale Hospital will not be striking as part of the RCN action, a spokesperson confirmed.
"Ministers have chosen strike action. They have the power and the means to stop this by opening serious talks that address our dispute."

In a statement, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust said: “We are aware of the RCN ballot and await further details from the RCN regarding specific details of any strike action at our Trust.
“The NHS as a whole has tried and tested plans in place to manage any disruption, including the proposed industrial action.
“We want to reassure people that A&E services at Bradford Royal Infirmary will remain unaffected and the Trust will do everything we can to go ahead with planned procedures if strikes take place here, especially for patients in greatest clinical need.
“GP appointments and mental wellbeing services and support would also run as normal, so people should come forward if required to use these.
“We value our colleagues and understand that good pay and conditions are important and want to see a resolution as soon as possible to the industrial action.”
