A SUSPECTED drug dealer has terminated their tenancy in an area.
Sergeant Terri Green from West Yorkshire Police, who covers Baildon, Bingley and Bingley Rural, updated the public yesterday about a case she had been involved with.
It related to Wednesday, when a man was arrested on suspicion of drug dealing in the Baildon area.
Police seized what they believed to be class A and B drugs, as well as evidence of suspected drug-dealing.
They also recovered what they believe to be stolen property.
PC Green said yesterday afternoon the man has been interviewed and released pending enquiries - such as drug-testing and CPS advice - since then.
She also told the public that he had terminated his tenancy at the place he was living, as police and other bodies were working to have him evicted.
PC Green said: "Interviewed and released pending enquiries such as drug testing and CPS advice.
"Good news - he's terminated his tenancy knowing partnership working alongside housing provider will result in eviction.
"ASB and dealing is NOT acceptable on my patch."
