A SPECIAL book sale is being held next month offering vintage and collectables to raise money for a local charity.
Age UK Bradford District will hold the sale at its Shipley Hub on Saturday, December 10.
David Green from the charity has been working his way through the stocks donated to the charity to curate a sale of books that will be of interest to collectors and regular customers who may be looking for that special bargain or book of interest.
He said: “Our charity gets some very interesting books donated, so it’s been great to organise a book sale at the Shipley Hub.
“We’ve got some vintage Ladybird books, Readers Digest editions, sports, music and art books and even some vintage manuals from the textile industry, so collectors may well find something of interest.
“It's also a great opportunity to buy that unusual Christmas present or just add to your own collection.”
As well as books there will also be a selection of vinyl available.
All proceeds of the book sale will go directly to Age UK Bradford District to support their work with older people in the area.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm at the Arndale Mall Hub.
