A LADIES afternoon tea party is being held to raise funds for the Marie Curie charity.
Members of the Shree Hindu Prajapati Association in Bradford are hosting the event on Sunday, November 27, from 3pm to 6pm.
It will be held at the association’s centre on Thornton Lane in Bradford, and has already sold out.
There will be cakes, biscuits, tea, coffee, soft drinks and Asian savouries alongside bingo and a raffle with mystery prizes.
Donations have been made by Asda, Tesco and Morrisons, as well as friends and family.
This event was previously held in 2019, where the Hindu community in Bradford raised £1368.50 for Marie Curie.
The event has been organised by Nita Mistry and supported by other Temple team members, including Ramilaben Tailor, the president of Shree Hindu Prajapati Association of Bradford.
