A SOAP star is being suited and booted by a Bradford tailoring firm.
Emmerdale actor Lawrence Robb, who plays Mackenzie Boyd on the show, chose the fabric for an olive green tuxedo that will be made for him by IK Collections.
He was given a tour of the firm’s Westgate shop during his visit and also bought a chicken korma takeaway from the Jinnah restaurant in the city on the same day.
Lawrence, who is the partner of Charity Dingle and brother of Moira Barton on the popular ITV soap, was impressed by Bradford during his visit.
Imran Khan, owner of IK Collections, said: “Lawrence was a very nice person.
“He really liked the shop, he loved the décor and we showed him around. He was very impressed.
“He was a really nice, genuine man. We took him to Jinnah and he was very impressed with Bradford.
“He is coming back to the shop in January to get measured up for his suit.”
Lawrence joins Coronation Street actor Jimmi Harkishin, who plays Dev Alahan on the show, who wore a suit designed and made by IK Collections at last month’s National Television Awards.
