A NEW course designed to provide adults with social media training to enhance their employment credentials has been launched in Bradford and Kirklees.
The course is free for anyone between the age of 19 and 23 without a Level 2 qualification and people over 24 who are either low-wage earners or unemployed.
It is being delivered by Realise, one of the UK’s leading training providers as part of its adult education budget contract with West Yorkshire Combined Authority for people in Bradford and Kirklees.
There will be 12 sessions in total, delivered either online or in a classroom and it will take 12 days to complete.
Gregg Scott, managing director of Realise, said: “Our aim with the Adult Education programme is three-pronged – to help people enter the workforce, upskill those already in work and to deliver on the economic goals and aims of the local community.
“Across a host of sectors, today’s fast-paced world means social media skills have become more in demand than ever before so this course will be relevant for a large number of people.”
