Police have arrested an Audi driver following a serious crash on the Bingley bypass.
West Yorkshire Police closed sections of the major route to deal with the two car crash.
The force were called to the emergency at at 1.37pm on Wednesday (November 23).
The male driver of an Audi car was arrested in connection with the incident.
Meanwhile a female passenger has been taken to hospital.
Investigations took place on the bypass and enquiries remain ongoing.
In the latest statement, a spokesperson said: “Police were called to a road traffic collision between two cars on the Bingley bypass at about 1.37pm today.
“A woman from an Audi car was taken to hospital in connection with the incident and road closures were put in place while investigations took place at the scene.
“The male driver of the Audi was arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.”
