BRADFORD's Metro Bank store is collecting donations to help support Bradford Central Foodbank and Advice Centre as part of its Christmas campaign to spread the warmth this winter.
Last year, the foodbank provided 127,809 meals to 14,201 people.
Bradford residents and businesses can donate some of the items the foodbank needs including jams and spreads, tea, coffee and biscuits, rice, tinned puddings and custard, tinned tomatoes, soup and fish, pulses, beans and lentils, cereals, UHT milk and toilet rolls, at its Market Street store.
Denis Charlette, Bradford Metro Bank store manager, said: “As a community bank we want to really help those most in need this Christmas and spread the warmth this winter.
“We would encourage everyone to give a little this Christmas – even one tin can make a difference. I want to thank everyone in advance for their generous support.”
All donations are welcome at Metro Bank’s Bradford store which can be found at Market Street, Bradford.
The store is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 6pm, Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
