TRAFFIC is stretching back five miles after a van and car have collided on a motorway.
The crash has happened on the M1 northbound carriageway, between junction 41 (Carrgate) and junction 42 (Lofthouse).
It involved two vehicles and was first reported 8.13am, according to the AA.
Lane five (of five) has been closed.
This is causing traffic to queue, stretching back to junction 39 (Wakefield/Durkar).
