A 23-YEAR-old Bradford man, who was caught driving a Lamborghini while banned, has been jailed.
Hasaam Hussain, of Ferndale Grove, Bradford, was spotted driving a Lamborghini Urus on Harewood Street in Bradford on July 7, 2022.
He admitted driving while disqualified when he appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on November 11, 2022, and was jailed for six weeks.
He was also disqualified from driving for 2 years and 11 months.
Hussain admitted carrying out a further offence while a suspended sentence order was in effect, having received a sentence in February that was suspended for 12 months.
The offence that led to the suspended sentence order being made involved failing to provide a specimen of blood for testing when suspected of having attempted to drive a vehicle on New Year’s Eve 2021 at North Parade in Bradford.
The full 12-week sentence was enacted in full, leading to a total jail sentence of 18 weeks.
Court documents show magistrates decided on a jail sentence for the driving while disqualified offence due to Hussain’s “wilful and persistent failure” to comply with the requirement of a community order.
Magistrates believed the offence was aggravated by being committed while subject o a community sentence.
