A MAN has received a five-year restraining order for harassing a woman over four days.
Constantin Zavodu, 35, of Mont Grove, in Canterbury, Bradford, was handed a community order, restraining order and fined for three offences at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court last Thursday.
The offences were: two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and harassment without violence.
Zavodu pleaded guilty to the charges on October 25.
He harassed a woman over a four-day period in October by persistently calling and messaging her.
On one of those days he used threatening, abusive or insulting words towards the same woman at an address.
A day later he acted in a similar way at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI).
Zavodu was ordered to complete a maximum of 30 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days.
The court also issued a restraining order meaning Zavodu cannot contact the woman he harassed directly or indirectly and must not go to her home, or any other address he becomes aware of her living at.
This order last for five years.
Zavodu was ordered to pay the courts £983 in total, including a £670 fine and costs of £85.
