Matthew Kenny, 23, of Burneston Gardens in Buttershaw, was caught breaking the 30mph speed limit by driving at 87mph on Rooley Lane.
The offence happened on April 13 this year and Kenny was caught by manned equipment.
He appeared at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on October 27, 2022.
The judge took the defendant's guilty plea into account when imposing sentence.
The driver was fined £162, ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services as well as £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six month due to repeat offending.
