READ: Police update on Bradford shooting arrests as councillors speak out
A LARGE police scene linked to a Bradford shooting is in place in the centre of a village this morning.
Earlier today, police confirmed they had arrested a 30-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender following the Torre Road incident last Friday.
The force confirmed that police activity on High Street and Brownroyd Hill Road in Wibsey was linked to the shooting probe.
When the Telegraph & Argus visited the scene, three police vehicles were in attendance.
One resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "It's shocked me to see all the police cars.
"We don't have much trouble in Wibsey really but it's been getting worse.
"I've heard it's linked to that shooting the other night, so it's all a bit worrying."
It comes after Louis Titre, 27, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
A 30-year-old man was discovered at the scene with serious injuries and was rushed to hospital.
A woman who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Friday was bailed pending further enquiries.
