PEOPLE in Bradford have been urged to donate Christmas presents to those in need as part of a group’s annual scheme.
Every year since 1989, JCI Bradford has worked together with different organisations to collect Christmas presents through pop-up collections. The Secret Santal Appeal donations are then delivered to needy children throughout Bradford, Kirklees, and Calderdale.
From November 21 until December 8, JCI Bradford will be collecting presents, donated by the public, in SMKD stores in Bradford, Halifax, and Huddersfield stores.
The group’s goal is to collect 20 presents per participating store and give a gift to 120 local children.
The SMKD stores taking donations in Bradford and other West Yorkshire towns are: Bridge Street, Bradford; Kirkgate, Bradford; John Street, Bradford; Sticker Lane, Bradford; High Street, Huddersfield and Market Street, Halifax.
