A BRADFORD restaurant that keeps customers coming back time and time again has received a special Customer Service Excellence award at the 2022 Telegraph & Argus Retail, Leisure and Hospitality awards on Sunday.
Jinnah, based on Leeds Road in Bradford city centre, won the Customer Service Excellence award, sponsored by Bradford BID.
Katrina Cowton, speaking on behalf of Jinnah, said: “This a great achievement. We’re getting very good feedback from our customers and we’re giving them a good dining experience.
“They don’t just come once, they come time and time again.”
Jinnah, which specialises in Kashmiri Cuisine, has been in business in Bradford for 25 years.
Qasim Khan, who is the son of the owner and restaurant manager, said: “We’ve gone through some tough times with Covid, but we treat our customers like royalty and they keep coming back.”
Named after the founder of Pakistan, the Jinnah group is a family-owned company boasting a total of five award-winning restaurants in the Yorkshire region.
Specialising in traditional Kashmiri Pakistani cuisine, their dedicated chefs have been tantalising taste buds across Yorkshire with its restaurants in Bradford, Saltaire, Selby, Harrogate and Flaxton, near York.
This was the Bradford BID award from the Customer Experience Review visits.
A spokesperson for Bradford BID said: “Jinnah were the winners of the award as they scored the perfect 100 per cent in all categories of the review visit and have been recognised for their outstanding level of customer service.”
Bradford BID believes customer experiences are now more vital than ever.
The spokesperson added: "As customers return it is important that they enjoy the whole experience of visiting your establishment and a big part of that is how employees interact and welcome them.
"Bradford BID are focusing on supporting our businesses in this and celebrating and promoting those businesses who go the extra mile to ensure their customer experience is second to none."
Storecheckers, on behalf of Bradford BID, carry out customer experience reviews to BID member retail, leisure and hospitality businesses.
