THERE’S been all sorts going on this week to mark Baby Week Bradford
This year’s event, which began on Monday and runs until November 20, has the theme ‘Bradford Babies Talking’.
To kick the week off, a fun day was held at Bradford City Football Club. It included live music, a baby rave as well as lots of activities and games aimed at helping improve little ones’ language and communication skills.
Kerry Bennett, Integration and Change Manager at Better Start Bradford, which organises the event, said: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the families who came to our family fun day to launch Baby Week Bradford and to all the organisations and partners from across the Bradford district who were in attendance to talk to parents and entertain our toddlers and babies.
“There’s also been loads more events happening and they continue all week.”
A session on Tuesday was aimed at helping parents and carers discover more ways to talk to their baby whilst playing and having fun.
Today saw a tea party with Singing Mamas, a choir committed to improving the wellbeing of women through singing, held at Kala Sangam.
An outdoor session was also held at Bowling Park, which included activities, songs, interactive storytelling, games and crafting fun.
Here are five great pictures from the week so far
