A DRIVER who was delivering food had his BMW seized.
The vehicle came to the attention of police during Operation Hawmill due to its damage and rear lights not working.
The car was also not insured.
Therefore, the silver BMW was seized in Halifax on Friday.
A spokesperson from the force said: "PC Lockwood gained a hat trick whilst on Operation Hawmill on Friday.
"We apologise to people who had to wait longer for their food.
"Operation Hawmill is funded by Calderdale community safety partnership targeting motorists for the fatal four. Drug/drink driving, speeding, mobile phone use and seatbelt enforcement.
"The operation is in response to community concerns and is in addition to roads policing officers' normal duties."
