A MAN has been sent to Bradford Crown Court accused of causing a public nuisance by closing multiple roads when he sat on the motorway at Brighouse.
Dean Adams, 51, of Keldregate, Huddersfield, appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on November 8 and was sent for trial on unconditional bail under the Crime and Disorder Act 1988.
He is charged with causing a public nuisance on October 4 at Brighouse by sitting on the motorway which resulted in multiple road closures and traffic issues across West Yorkshire.
Adams is due to appear at the crown court on December 6.
